At the far side of the field, before you reach the smoker, there was a little fishing pond. Pausing here, I looked back towards the bridge and saw another Challenger crossing, so I decided to wait a while and see who it was.
It turned out to be Ray Disson, and we decided to walk in company for a bit, as we were heading the same way for the next 5 kilometres - as far as Glennoe, that is, where our paths diverged.
