The 2012 Challenge, Day 4: Off Map and On Road (5)

After walking a while on the Great Glen Way, we came to a path junction; and one of the paths had a little arch made by bending two young trees and tying them together which was decorated with lanterns and other hanging ornaments. Intrigued, we passed beneath the arch, and soon found ourselves in an extraordinary installation described as the "Fairy Forest". Everywhere we looked, there were little groves decorated with ornaments of all kinds. This "teddy bears' picnic" type gathering was perhaps the most extraordinary of them.
