The 2015 Challenge, day 8: Through the Ghru (11)

The first of the Pools of Dee was completely snowed over, but the snow was beginning to collapse into it. A dangerous condition indeed for anyone straying out over the pool itself, who could easily find the snow giving way beneath them, to plunge them into the icy cold water below. The path was well trodden, though, and passed well to the side - and I was grateful for this.
