The descent to Dalmally from the transmitter mast is on a well-made track through the woods. There were two fairly imposing locked gates to be crossed, of which this is the more extreme. But my wife had managed to get over them by herself on the way up; so I was confident that, working together as a pair, we should be able to get over them on the way down.

The 2010 Challenge, day 3: Inveraray to Dalmally (6)
The descent to Dalmally from the transmitter mast is on a well-made track through the woods. There were two fairly imposing locked gates to be crossed, of which this is the more extreme. But my wife had managed to get over them by herself on the way up; so I was confident that, working together as a pair, we should be able to get over them on the way down.
