The 2010 Challenge, day 3: Inveraray to Dalmally (7)

The descent took us past Duncan Ban's monument. I do not know who or what he was; and I guess I ought to go back and take a proper look at it some time.

  1. One of Glen Orchy's most famous sons, the Gaelic Bard, Duncan Ban (or "Fair" Duncan), was born in a now deserted township on the shores of Loch Tulla.
