The 2013 Challenge, day 7: Loch Pattack to Dalwhinnie (3)

The track along Loch Ericht is a bit of a trudge, and it helps to have company. The first time I came this way, in 2000, I had Andy Desmond as a walking companion. This year I had the Irishman; however, after a while I found his pace a bit too hard for me. So I stopped for a glug stop while he pressed on. But it wasn't long before Colin caught up with me, and we continued on into Dalwhinnie together. I am not quite sure what happened to Ian, and I didn't ask.
