The 2013 Challenge, day 8: Through the Gaick Forest (8)

The path down off Bruthach na Craoibhe zig-zags its way down a steep hillside at a perfectly manageable angle; and I was soon in the valley floor. The bridge over the Allt Loch an Duin (pictured) was perfectly serviceable; and once across the track down the valley to Gaick Lodge and beyond was easy going and I made good progress. The weather was bright and warm; and this was really the sort of Challenge day that you dream about during those long, cold winter months!
