The 2013 Challenge, day 3: Lochailort to Glensulaig (5)

At Fassfern I crossed the old bridge (pictured) and turned left up the old pony track - which used to be used by the packhorses to bring charcoal down from the charcoal burners' platforms to Loch Eil (there's a little information board saying so). This is a charming riverside walk and would make a lovely lazy evening stroll ... or perhaps somewhere to come with a picnic lunch. After a while, though, the track turns away from the river and there is a short little uphill section, before the last little two kilometres or so of easy going which take you to Glensulaig bothy.
